Data Report
Registrant Demographics
www.MedicareHMO.com

Visitors to the website www.MedicareHMO.com are given the option to register to receive e-newsletters and announcements.  Those visitors who previously registered were asked demographic questions including their age and their experience with the Internet.  The following table displays the percentages of registrants by age range and Internet experience.

Of note is that the percentage of members "60 or over" compared to the "under age 60" members is significantly higher in the "less than 6 months" category, supporting the premise that Seniors are actively gaining Internet experience.  While Seniors do not have the same level of historical experience with the Internet relative to younger age groups they are the most proactive age group accessing the Internet of those with less than 6 months experience.
